Step 1: Access DefiLaunchApp
Start by visiting the DefiLaunchApp homepage at https://launchpad.defilaunch.app/.
On the homepage, navigate to the option that says “Create Token" and then select "Custom Token" from the dropdown.
Step 2: Token Creation Page
After selecting "Custom Token", you'll be redirected to the token creation page: https://launchpad.defilaunch.app/token.
This page is where you'll input all the necessary details for your token.
Step 3: Selecting Token Type
Within the token creation interface, locate the [Token Type] section.
Here, you'll see various options for the type of token you can create. Select “Standard Token” to proceed with creating a standard-type token.
Step 4: Input Token Details
Fill in all the required fields with the appropriate information for your token. This includes the token name, symbol, decimals, and total supply, among others.
Ensure that the decimals value is set to 2 or higher, as per the platform's requirements.
Remember, all fields must be filled in; they cannot be left blank. Also, both the decimals and the total supply must be positive numbers.
Step 5: Creating the Token
Once you've entered all the necessary information, click on the “Create token” button to initiate the token creation process.
Your chosen wallet (MetaMask, CoinBase, or Trust) will prompt you to confirm the transaction. This includes a display of the transaction fee required for token creation.
Review the transaction details, and if you agree to the terms and the fee, click the “Confirm” button to finalize the creation of your standard token.
Important Notes:
Be mindful of the transaction fees associated with creating a token. These fees can vary based on network congestion and the blockchain you're using.
Ensure that all the information you enter is accurate and final, as changing token details post-creation can be complex and sometimes not possible.
After confirming the transaction, it might take a few moments for the token to be fully created and visible within your wallet or on the blockchain explorer.
By following these steps, you should be able to successfully create a standard token using DefiLaunchApp and your preferred wallet. Remember to double-check all details before confirming the transaction to avoid any mistakes or issues with your new token.
